Memorial Day

We had a fun Memorial Day...even though the weather so cold and rainy. We usually go to Fillmore for the long weekend, but we decided to stay in Salt Lake this year. We went to the cemetary and visited Mark's Grandpa & Grandma's gravesite. Then it was off to the Rugby field, where we spent the rest of the day watching the Rugby tournament. Since the weather was so cold me and the girls stayed inside Uncle Sam & Aunty Kelli's motorhome and watched the games from the window....and yes we had the best seats ever.

Home Away From Home

This last week while Mark was in Texas playing rugby me and the girls went to Fillmore. We left Wednesday morning and came back home Monday afternoon. It was great to spend time with my family there. We were able to do lots of fun things. We went to Hailey's tumbling recital, the Elementry School Program, Luke's baseball game, Joe's T-ball game, and Tali played and played on Grandpa and Grandma's new playground. It was such nice weather we were able to be outside alot. I was able to go for a few walks and even wash my car!! Here are some pictures from our week!

I am so blessed to have such a great mother in my life and a wonderful grandmother to my two children. I am also thankful to my mother-in-law for the grandmother that she is to Tali & Kenya. So to all the mothers take a moment and pat yourselves on the back...you do a wonderful job!

Feeding The Ducks

Tali loves ducks...so we decided to take her to Liberty Park to feed the ducks. She had a great time. Kenya stayed asleep in the stroller the whole time we were there.

Another Busy Saturday!

We had another busy Saturday! It started out at Sugarhouse Park. Mark had rugby practice so I went and took the girls. We walked around the park and got our exercise in...at least I did! Pushing Tali & Kenya in the stroller up those hills was a little straining on my muscles!!! Once we left Sugarhouse Park we decided to go to Willow Pond Park in Taylorsville. This is one of Marks favorite places to fish since it is so close to home. We didn't see anyone catching fish but we did see ducks. Tali loves to yell out "Duck, Duck, Duck". So all the way around the pond Tali would let us know where the ducks were. Once we had made it around the pond we let Tali play on the playground for a while. Then we went home and got cleaned up and left for Spanish Fork. Tali & Kenya's cousin Taylor had a dance competition. We were able to make it for her last two performances. She was excited to see us and of course to hold Kenya. After the competition we went to dinner with Uncle Shane, Aunty Kristi, Sadie & Taylor, & Uncle John, Aunty Melissa & Kadee. What a FUN day!
